Knox College Wedding Films
Two weddings, two ways of remembering Knox College. Explore Sarah and Jeff’s digital highlight film and Verity and Daniel’s Super 8 reel, each shaped around the people and moments that made their day their own.
Planning your film here
Give the ceremony its own preparation time
Share the ceremony schedule and any requirements from the venue and officiant. We’ll coordinate camera positions and sound before guests settle in, so the vows and reactions receive the attention they deserve.
Allow for the move across Toronto
Sarah and Jeff’s day connected a hotel, Knox College and a separate reception venue. Plan arrival and departure windows with your coordinator, including equipment access and time to prepare at the next stop.
Tell us what makes the day yours
Music, family traditions and the people you want close are useful context before we film. A planning conversation helps us recognise the meaningful details as they happen, rather than approach the wedding with a fixed formula.
A wedding we filmed
Sarah + Jeff
The ceremony is one chapter of their film, surrounded by the anticipation of the morning and the energy of the evening. A conversation about the music Sarah and Jeff loved helped us understand their taste before the wedding and find an edit that felt right for their footage.
Access & arrangements
Knox offers wedding and engagement photography permits when the premises are available, with limits on the booking window and group size. Confirm whether your ceremony booking includes the portrait access you need, and ask about wedding videography arrangements. Knox explicitly prohibits drones and atmospheric smoke for photography or videotaping.

Another wedding we filmed here
Verity + Daniel on Super 8
Verity Martin and Daniel Bunting celebrated their ceremony at Knox College before heading to the University of Toronto Club for their reception. We captured their wedding on genuine Super 8 film, giving the day a different texture: soft grain, flickering light and the movement of moments on a roll of film.
We filmed alongside Lucas T Photography, with planning by Rare Elegance Events’ Clair Pullen, WPICC. Their reel is the standalone Super 8 example featured on our Super 8 page.
Questions about filming at Knox College
Did Sarah and Jeff hold their reception at Knox College?
No. Their ceremony was at Knox College; their evening celebration was at Second Floor Events on King Street West. Their morning and first look were at the Kimpton Saint George.
Do we need to arrange portrait access at Knox?
Confirm this directly with Knox when booking. Its official facility-rental page lists photography permits subject to availability and group limits. Ask what access is included with your ceremony and whether any additional booking is needed for your plans.
Can you use a drone at Knox College?
No. Knox’s official facility-rental guidance expressly prohibits drones for photography and videotaping. We plan the wedding coverage within the venue’s rules.
