Planning your film here
Plan the whole journey
If your morning starts elsewhere, include travel, arrival and getting settled in your coverage plan. An address on the itinerary is only part of the move; time to bring equipment in and prepare for the next moment matters too.
Give portraits their own space
Discuss a first look and any sunset portraits with your planner and photographer before finalising the reception schedule. At Annie and David’s wedding, we coordinated these moments alongside the evening’s events.
Make room for a same-day edit
A reception screening needs a planned editing window while the celebration continues. For Annie and David, one cinematographer kept filming while the edit came together. Bring the planner and reception AV team into that conversation early.
A wedding we filmed
Annie + David
Their day began with a tea ceremony in Oakville before continuing at Casa Loma in Toronto. The film brings those parts together: family traditions, a first look, the terrace ceremony and the celebration that followed. It was edited during the wedding and shown at their evening reception.
Access & arrangements
Ask Casa Loma’s events team which spaces and access times are included in your booking, where portraits can take place, and what the indoor plan would be if weather changes. We plan the filming around the arrangements confirmed for your wedding rather than assume every part of the property is available.

Questions about filming at Casa Loma
Can you film the morning at another location?
Yes. Annie and David’s film includes their tea ceremony in Oakville before the celebration at Casa Loma. Share your locations and key events so we can recommend coverage that gives each part of your day enough time.
Can we have a same-day wedding edit?
Yes, we offer same-day edits. We’ll discuss the timeline, continued camera coverage and reception playback setup with you and your planner. Annie and David’s film is an example of an edit shown that evening.
Where can we see the full wedding story and vendor credits?
The dedicated Annie and David film page includes the wedding story, film and credited creative team. Follow the film-page link above to explore it.
