Shameran and Douglas’s intimate Assyrian wedding began with traditional celebrations, including the taking away of the bride and dabke, before their ceremony at The Cathedral Church of Saint Mary in Etobicoke.

Their celebration continued at Paletta Mansion in Burlington, where fewer than 100 guests gathered for an intimate evening on the historic lakefront estate. Their wedding film was created with a cinematic, dialogue-free approach, focusing on movement, atmosphere and the energy of the Assyrian traditions woven throughout the day.
